Wintertime Adventures

The fun doesn’t stop when the snow flies! The Mac’s crew is ready to guide you on a trip through the Adirondack winter wonderland. The Saranac Lake area is home to all types of terrain providing opportunity for guided snowshoe treks for all abilities and interests. Your guide may lead you down a trail along side a scenic frozen pond or river, up a mountain or on a bushwhack through the forest. Along the way, your guide will provide snowshoe instruction, share Adirondack history, whip up some hot chocolate and make sure you have a trip to remember.

 Your snowshoe adventure will include:

·         Experienced snowshoe guide
·         Snowshoes
·         4-6 hour snowshoe adventure in the Adirondack Park

Monday – Friday Rates: $150 for up-to three people; $40 for each additional participant

Saturday and Sunday Rates: $200 for up-to three people; $50 for each additional participant

*All winter guided treks must be reserved at least five (5) days in advance and are subject to guide and equipment availability.

**Our guides are prepared to lead groups in nearly all winter weather conditions. That said, we will not venture out if conditions are not safe or are outside of our client’s comfort level. Any weather-related cancellations from either party will result in a 50% refund or a rain check for another available time slot. Treks may be delayed or shortened based on present weather conditions.
